Some stores to open on Sunday
Some retail stores will open in Athens on Sunday to mark the first day of the fall sales.
The shops that choose to take part in the voluntary opening will be open to customers from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The fall sales will last until Tuesday, November 10.
The union representing private sector workers (OIYE), which includes retail sector employees, has called on its members to boycott the Sunday opening.
The union has also organized a protest at 11 a.m. tomorrow in Syntagma Square.
