Police probe possibility of suicide in rail death
Police on Thursday were seeking to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the death of a man who was killed instantly after being hit by a train on a section of the Hellenic Railways Organization’s network in Kryoneri, eastern Attica, shortly before 2 p.m.
Initial reports suggested that the man had intended to take his own life.
Suspended for several hours, rail services in the area resumed later on Thursday.
