Downtown roads to close for Athens Fun Run

Some 15,000 people are expected to take part in the Athens Fun Run on Sunday, which will lead to a number of streets in the city center being closed from early in the morning.

Central roads, such as Amalias and Vassilissis Sofias avenues, as well as Panepistimiou, Stadiou and Academias streets, will be inaccessible to vehicles between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m.

The fun run, which is in its 19th year, is due to being at 9 a.m.
