Kammenos helicopter commute claims denied
The Defense Ministry on Friday rubbished reports that Defense Minister Panos Kammenos uses a helicopter to travel to the ministry.
The statement labeled the reports “false” and “defamatory.”
It added that the helipad at the Defense Ministry has not been in use since November 2004.
The ministry said that Kammenos did travel in a helicopter on October 14 with several armed forces chiefs to the frigate Spetsai in the Aegean to observe military exercises.
