Anarchist turns himself in

A 37-year-old self-proclaimed anarchist turned himself in to authorities on Tuesday morning, police announced. An arrest warrant had been issued against the suspect in March 2013, in connection to a case involving a cache of weapons found in a vehicle in Exarchia, central Athens. The car, containing Kalashnikov assault rifles and grenades, among other items, had been rented under his name.

Police on Tuesday said officers were examining possible links between the suspect and Giorgos Petrakakos, an alleged terrorist who was arrested last month.
