Hollande: Negotiations with Greece should now turn to easing debt burden
The European Union's negotiations with Greece should now take a look at easing the country's debt burden, French Preisident Francois Hollande told the European Parliament in Strasbourg in a joint-address with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Wednesday.
In his speech, Hollande referred to the long, painstaking negiotiations with Greece, noting that if the process had failed it would have signified more than just a failure. "It would have been a renunciation of our mutual responsibilites," he said.
