Children’s vaccine shortage confirmed in Greece
The National Organization for Medicines (EOF) confirmed reports on Tuesday that there are shortages of some child vaccines on the Greek market.
EOF said that an increased global demand for whooping cough jabs and lower production due to stricter quality checks has caused the shortage.
It said that the drugs which are in short supply are Tetravac, Infanrix Tetra and Pentavac.
EOF said that parallel exports of these drugs have been banned and more vaccines have been ordered.
