Administrative staff at Athens University hold work stoppages

Administrative staff at Athens University will be holding work stoppages Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from noon to 3 p.m., followed by an all-day strike on Monday, their union has said.

Their decision is in protest at legal action taken against 14 colleagues who held a 3.5-month strike in 2013 against public sector layoffs. The protest will include a rally outside the Justice Ministry on Mesogeion Avenue at 12.30 p.m. Tuesday.
