Briton found dead on Corfu was strangled, says coroner
A British man found dead on Corfu on September 28 appears to have been strangled, a local coroner said on Thursday.
It is not clear who may have killed the 66-year-old, who arrived on the island on September 26, or why.
“All the signs that point to murder are there,” said coroner Yiannis Aivatidis, who informed the local police of his findings.
British authorities have also asked for a copy of the coroner’s report.
