Father of Pavlos Fyssas to testify at Golden Dawn trial
The trial of Golden Dawn MPs and members resumes Tuesday with the testimony of Panayiotis Fyssas, the father of anti-fascist rapper Pavlos Fyssas who was fatally stabbed two years ago by a member of the neo-Nazi party in the western Athens neighborhood of Keratsini.
The testimony will take place in light of recent comments by Golden Dawn chief Nikos Michaloliakos, who said his party “assumes the political responsibility” for the killing.
None of GD’s senior members are expected to show up at the purpose-built courtroom in maximum-security Korydallos Prison.
