Free Pap tests to be offered at Athens hospital

Doctors at the capital’s Aretaeio Hospital will be offering free cervical smear tests and breast cancer screening tests to women without health insurance and on low incomes on Monday, September 28, marking World Contraception Day.

The tests will be available from 8 a.m. to noon on that day.

Doctors will also be offering young women free jabs for the sexually transmitted HPV virus which can lead to cervical cancer.
