Pulse poll gives New Democracy narrow lead
A new opinion poll shows New Democracy enjoy a narrow lead over leftist SYRIZA.
The Pulse poll, conducted on Monday and Tuesday on behalf of Action 24 TV station, puts New Democracy on 27.5 percent while the party of former prime minister Alexis Tsipras is in second on 27 percent.
Golden Dawn and PASOK/Democratic Left are third with 6.5 percent, followed by To Potami and the Communist Party (KKE) with 5, Popular Unity with 3.5, and Center Union on 2.5 percent. The poll puts former coalition partner Independent Greeks (ANEL) on 2 percent, which would not be enough to enter Parliament.
Seven percent are undecided, the survey shows. Of them, 36 percent voted SYRIZA in the last election while 10 percent supported the conservative party.
