Falciani quizzed over Lagarde list
Greek prosecutors were in Paris Friday to question former HSBC employee Herve Falciani, who was responsible for copying and leaking data from the bank, including the so-called Lagarde list of Greek depositors.
Falciani was questioned in an unknown location by four Greek judicial officials, led by Athens prosecutor Ilias Zagoraios. Sources said the prosecutors are aiming to garner more information relating to the list, which could help a probe into potential tax evaders.
The computer expert was said to be cooperating with Greek authorities and able to provide them with information that they did not previously have access to.
