Firefighters battle blaze in Crete
Firefighters on Saturday were battling a wildfire in the area of Skordilo in Lasithi, eastern Crete. The fire, which broke out late Friday, was burning through grass and meadows.
The blaze posed no threat to any inhabited area and five fire engines, aided by one helicopter, were sent to put it out.
