Police launch manhunt after Thessaloniki robbery
Police in Thessaloniki, northern Greece, were over the weekend looking for two men suspected of stealing 34,000 euros from a gas station owner.
According to the victim, a car with two men smashed into his vehicle as he was driving in the area of Evosmos on Friday. When he got out of his car to check the damage, one of the two assailants allegedly grabbed a bag containing the takings from his gas station from the passenger seat. The two suspects subsequently fled the scene.
Police later found the car used by the alleged robbers. It had been reported stolen.
