Owner of Kedros Publishing house dies
Katia Lebesi, the owner of the Kedros Publishing house, died Friday at the age of 67. She had been suffering from cancer.
She took over at Kedros in 1985 and it became the first publishing house in Greece to put out feminist books. She was known for her personal touch and her interest in environmental matters.
She twice stood as a parliamentary candidate for the Ecologist Greens, in the 2007 and 2012 elections.
Her funeral will take place at the First Cemetery of Athens on Monday.
