Marijuana plants seized on Crete and in Kozani
Police on Monday said they had seized more than 100 marijuana plants in two separate operations, one on Crete and the other in northern Greece.
Eighty-seven plants from which the illegal derives were removed for destruction from a remote mountain ravine in Kozani, in the north of the country.
Two men, aged 42 and 65, were arrested on the spot while tending to the plants.
In Iraklio on Crete, a search of a farm led to the seizure of 37 marijuana plants and the arrest of a 40-year-old man.
