Man shot and robbed in southern Athens

A man was shot in the leg in Moschato, southern Athens, on Thursday in what appears to have been a robbery.

Police said the assailant, who was at large last night, shot his victim and then stole from him a bag containing cash and personal documents.

The injured man was taken to Nikaia Hospital for treatment.

It was not immediately clear how much money was stolen.
