Cargo ship sailors who fell into Aegean swam to safety
Two members of a cargo ship’s crew who fell into the Aegean Sea managed to swim to safety early Monday.
The two men swam to the island of Koufonisia as the coast guard and the air force launched search operations.
The cargo ship, which was not carrying any load, was sailing from Albania to Turkey with 10 crew members on board. It is not clear how the two men ended up in the water.
