Revenge seen as motive behind Pella murder
Police in northern Greece believe that the death on Friday of a 65-year-old man in the town of Pella was a revenge killing committed by a younger man.
According to investigators, a 26-year-old man has allegedly confessed to going to the victim’s house to demand an apology for an argument the previous night at a local cafe.
Police believe that their encounter in the victim’s house the following day turned violent, with the 26-year-old striking the older man several times with a small cleaver.
