Fire breaks out near Athens-Lamia highway

A fire broke out on Thursday not far from the Athens-Lamia national highway near the Afidnes toll station in northern Athens, the fire service said.

Twenty firefighters were battling the blaze which according to the fire service was expected to be brought under control later in the day.
