Father, son found stabbed to death in Serres

Police on Wednesday were investigating the deaths of a 72-year-old retired pharmacist and his 27-year-old son, who were found stabbed to death in their home in Serres, northern Greece.

The incident was reported to police by the daughter of the family, who discovered her father and brother lying in a pool of blood in separate parts of the house on Tuesday night.

Investigators are looking into the possibility that the two men had an argument that ended in violence, as the son was known to have mental problems and neighbors said they heard them arguing.

The coroner who started examining their bodies on Wednesday said that they were both stabbed multiple times.
