British police to return to Greece to follow up new Ben Needham leads
British police officers will visit Greece in the coming months to follow up new leads on the disappearance of Ben Needham in 1991.
"There will be further visits to Greece to speak to other people I believe are significant and have some knowledge as to what happened," Detective Inspector Jon Cousins, of South Yorkshire Police, told the BBC.
Ben was 21 months old when he went missing while on Kos. His mother, Kerry, visited Greece in May to give momentum to a new effort to find out what happened to her son.
Kerry Needham appeared on Greek TV during her visit, prompting some people to come forward with information that the British police is evaluating.
The Home Office granted South Yorkshire Police funding earlier this year to continue its efforts to find Ben.
