Police crackdown on child pornography leads to two arrests
Members of the Greek Police’s cyber crime unit on Thursday detained two men, aged 32 and 38, on charges of trading in child pornography over the Internet and drew up case files against another four suspects, aged 24, 30, 37 and 50.
The crackdown came as part of an investigation, code-named RINA, in which the Greek Police has cooperated with forces in other countries.
The arrests followed a series of raids last month on residences in Pella, Magnesia, Aetoloacarnania, Attica and Thessaloniki. The raids led to several computers and hard drives being confiscated.
