Police nab robbers who put trackers under victims’ cars
Police on Friday announced the arrest of two Georgian men, aged 37 and 28, who are alleged to have carried out several burglaries and robberies by placing tracking devices under the cars of their victims to ensure they were absent before conducting break-ins.
The men are alleged to have used violence on several occasions.
In the case of a burglary in Pefki, northern Athens, they are said to have forced their victims into revealing the whereabouts of their valuables by threatening them with an electric iron.
