Toll fees on Greek highways start year lower than 2014
Toll charges on Greece’s national highways started the year slightly down from 2014 levels, as rates are pegged to the performance of the economy.
On the Nea Odos and Kentriki Odos highways linking Athens to the northern port city of Thessaloniki, rates at toll posts have been reduced by between 15-30 cents.
Rates are also down slightly in the Peloponnese and western Greece.
However, charges are expected to go up again at the start of 2016.
