Disabled citizens protest pension and benefits cuts

Dozens of disabled citizens gathered outside the Labor Ministry in Athens on Tuesday to protest reductions to their benefits and pensions imposed as part of a broader government austerity program.

In a statement, the union representing the country’s disabled also requested free medical care for all categories of disabled persons.
