N17’s Xeros in court to appeal for release from jail

Convicted November 17 terrorist Savvas Xeros appeared in court in Piraeus on Tuesday morning as part of his appeal to be released from Korydallos Prison.

Xeros and his legal team argue that the inmate’s health has deteriorated to such a point that he should be released. Xeros is suffering from multiple sclerosis as well as other health problems.

The appeals court has asked for three medical experts to provide their opinions on the convict’s health.
