Two injured in new Manolada fracas involving migrant workers
A roadside brawl between Bangladeshi migrant workers near Manolada, in the Peloponnese, late on Thursday resulted in two of the men suffering injuries.
According to Patrastimes.gr, three Bangladeshis attacked two of their compatriots in a bid to rob them and left them bleeding on the side of the Pyrgos-Patra national highway.
One of the injured men managed to reach the nearest gas station and seek help, according to local reports.
The attack came a month after a similar altercation in Manolada that, according to police, involved four migrant workers arguing over money.
Manolada made international headlines last year when the foreman of a local strawberry farm opened fire on 28 migrant workers after they complained at a delay in the payment of their wages.
