Easter Friday and Saturday opening hours for shops in Greece
Stores across the country will be operating according to a slightly different schedule on Friday and Saturday in view of Greek Orthodox Easter, which is this Sunday.
On Good Friday, most shops will be open from 1 to 7 p.m., department stores and supermarkets will be open from 1 to 9 p.m. and the capital’s central Varvakeio meat market will be open from 8 a.m. without a set closing time.
On Easter Saturday, most shops will be open from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., department stores and supermarkets from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., while the Varvakeio market will be open from 6 a.m.
Stores will be closed on Easter Sunday and Monday.
