Avramopoulos expected in Britain after visiting United States

Foreign Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos, who will speak at the American Jewish Committee’s Global Forum in Washington on Monday, will also visit the United Kingdom next week.

Avramopoulos will be in the UK Tuesday and Wednesday following an invitation from Foreign Secretary William Hague to discuss European and international matters.

Avramopoulos, who this week visited Israel, where he had talks with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, will speak to an audience of some 1,500 participants on Monday.
