Albanian suspected of abducting girl, 13, is arrested [UPDATE]
A few hours after a missing 13-year-old girl from the northern city of Kavala was found near the forested area of Loutra, police said they had arrested a 23-year-old Albanian national wanted for her abduction.
The man, identified as Marjon Ajazi, had communicated with Christina Krassa on Facebook directly before her disappearance, according to police. He was also found near Loutra on Friday.
The 13-year-old did not appear to have been harmed but was transferred to a local hospital to undergo preventive medical tests, according to the Hamogelo Tou Paidiou (Child’s Smile) charity.
