Greek Supreme Court’s Yiannis Tentes appointed anti-graft supremo
Outgoing Supreme Court prosecutor Yiannis Tentes is the man that will head up a new public body to fight corruption, it was revealed on Thursday.
Tentes is due to leave the Supreme Court on June 30 due to reaching the maximum age limit but has accepted an offer from Prime Minister Antonis Samaras to become national coordinator for the fight against corruption.
He will be responsible for drawing up a national strategy for combating graft and can propose changes to the law.
