Lawyers to strike over law change, fund merger

Lawyers around the country will be on strike on Thursday and Friday to protest a change to the law that will mean they will no longer need to be present, and therefore paid, at the signing of contracts.

They are also protesting the merging of their healthcare fund, ETAA, into the National Organization for Healthcare Provision (EOPYY).
