Transport on weekend schedule

Public transport in Athens on Monday will be running according to the weekend schedule, the transport authority has announced.

The metro, the Piraeus-Kifissia electrical railway, the tram, buses and trolley buses will run at longer intervals as transport workers return from their constituencies following Sunday’s general election.

The metro and buses to Athens International Airport, as well as buses serving central intercity bus depots, will continue to run as normal.
