New police, fire chiefs

The Governmental Council of Foreign Affairs and National Defense (KYSEA) on Monday named Nikolaos Papayiannopoulos as head of the police force and Panayiotis Bonatsos as head of the fire brigade, replacing Eleftherios Economou and Stylianos Stefanidis respectively.

The Citizens? Protection Ministry also announced that Economou will be serving as secretary-general of public order, following the resignation of Grigoris Tasoulas on personal grounds.
