Airport robbers remanded
Two of the three people charged in connection with an armed raid on a bank branch at Athens International Airport last Sunday, which netted 1 million euros, were remanded in custody on Thursday.
A 23-year-old employee of the branch of Alpha Bank and a 30-year-old immigrant were remanded after testifying before an investigating magistrate.
The third suspect, about whom no details were given, received a conditional release.
