Probe ordered into flight disruption

Transport Minister Yiannis Ragousis on Thursday ordered an investigation into what caused security systems at Athens International Airport to malfunction earlier in the day, resulting in delays to several flights.

Air-traffic controllers reportedly blamed a brief power cut for problems at the central control center.

Ragousis asked Athens first instance prosecutor Eleni Raikou to launch an investigation.
