Property tax bills to arrive soon

Electricity bills containing the first half of a new emergency property tax will be sent out at the end of this week or the beginning of next, Public Power Corporation sales manager Evangelos Karakatsanis said on Tuesday.

Homeowners will have to pay between 0.50 and 20 euros per square meter on the total area of their property.

The second half of the tax is due next month.
