Trash collectors to partially lift strike
Municipal sanitation workers have decided to ease their strike, which has led to trash piling up on the streets of Athens, so they can collect garbage from streets close to schools, hospitals and open-air markets.
The local authority employees took the decision over the weekend in the wake of heavy rain being forecast for the capital.
The strike will continue until Tuesday.
