Bill foresees MP salary cuts
A further salary cut for MPs will be staggered rather than taking place in one go, according to a bill submitted to Parliament on Thursday.
The deputies, who since last year have seen their monthly salaries reduced from 14 to 12, will lose another month?s wages but this will take place over the course of three months according to the draft law.
The bill does not state how much money will be saved as a result of this cut but MPs? gross annual salaries are estimated to be 70,000-80,000 euros.
