Boy, 12, in intensive care after scooter crash

A 12-year-old boy has been admitted to an intensive care unit with brain injuries after being run over by a car while driving a scooter in Athens.
The collision happened on Mesogeion Avenue in Halandri.
The condition of the boy, who is being treated at Aglaia Kyriakou children’s hospital, has been described as serious.
