Two Britons arrested after contraband cigarettes found

Police have arrested two men in the western port of Igoumenitsa after more than 3,000 packs of contraband cigarettes were found hidden in the van they were travelling in.

The men, who hold British passports and are of Turkish origin, are 47 and 48 years old. They were attempting to leave the country when apprehended.

A video released by police show officers removing wooden lining inside the van, where 3,338 packs of contraband cigarettes, which were manufactured in Turkey, were found hidden.
