Man, 22, arrested with €15,000 in counterfeit banknotes

Police in the northwestern city of Grevena have arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of currency forgery.

In a search of the man’s car and home, officers found 85 banknotes with a face value of 15,000 euros, a small mount of cannabis and a knuckleduster.

The man was led before a prosecutor, while police are continuing their investigation.
