Skeet shooter Katzouraki speaks out about sexual harassment

A Greek Olympian has spoken publicly about her verbal sexual harassment in her sport over years.

Skeet shooter Emmanouela Katzouraki, 23, told Argyro Giannoudaki on her SportsPodcast that she first experienced sexual harassment when she was 16 by an official in the sport.

“When you talk about what hurts you, it’s like casting off a burden you didn’t choose to carry,” Katzouraki told her interlocutor.

Katzouraki, who won bronze in last year’s world championships, came fifth in her competition in Paris.
