Motorcycle fire disrupts traffic on Athens highway
A motorcycle caught fire on a bridge section of Poseidonos Avenue in Neo Faliro, heading toward the southern port district of Piraeus.
No injuries were reported, but the incident caused significant traffic disruptions.
Despite the motorcyclist’s attempts to extinguish the flames with a fire extinguisher, the fire spread to the acrylic noise barrier.
The fire service arrived at the scene approximately 25 minutes later and successfully extinguished the blaze.
