Driver dies after truck falls off cliff in Distomo

A fatal traffic accident took place in Distomo, central Greece, when a truck fell off a cliff, causing the driver to lose his life.
According to local media, the truck was transporting coal to an aluminum factory. After the truck fell off the cliff, it burst into flames, while explosions were also heard.
The approximately 40-year-old driver was trapped inside the vehicle. About 15 firefighters with six vehicles were dispatched to the scene to put out the fire.
