Firefighter suffers heart attack while volunteering to fight blaze

A firefighter from Sofiko, Corinth in the Peloponnese suffered a heart attack while volunteering to combat a fire Wednesday.
The firefighter, who was off-duty, joined colleagues in the firefighting efforts.
He is being transported to a hospital in Attica for treatment.
The wildfire at Sofiko has been brought under partial control. Fire fighting efforts continue.
