Bomb threat at bank in northern Athens suburb

A warning call about a bomb at a bank branch in Nea Chalkidona was received earlier on Tuesday by the newspaper Efimerida ton Syntakton.

The caller, who phoned at 7 p.m., said a bomb would explode in one hour at the Piraeus Bank branch at the intersection of Dekeleias and Kritis streets.

A team from the bomb disposal unit is on the scene.
