Tram line section in southern Athens returns to service on July 1
Tram service in the section between Asklipio Voulas and Zefyros in southern Athens will resume on July 1 after four months, the Athens Urban Rail Transport Company (STASY) said on Friday.
The service had been suspended since March 10 due to construction work at the former airport at Elliniko to bring part of coastal Poseidonos Avenue underground.
However, trains will not stop at Kedro Istioploias station due to the proximity to the Elliniko construction site.
